Your smile and love of life were infectious. Always fit and active, whether on the athletics track, changing a light bulb or redecorating the church hall. You so enjoyed being Chaplain at West Ham. Remembering a kind, brave and determined man whom it was our pleasure to know only briefly.
I met Liz at my first branch meeting which I attended in 2015. We hit it off straight away and she gave me the confidence and encouragement to become branch secretary, when she retired from the role 2021. Liz encouraged me to see Keir Starmer as a future leader of the Labour Party. The rest is history. Liz was a strong woman who loved political debate and we had many debates in the bar of the Onward Club. She will be missed.
Liz was a longstanding Labour member and worked her whole life to support her local community. Her passion was improving child welfare and education. She was previously a member of Chelmsley Wood Town Council and a School Governor. She was very engaged with the local Labour Party Branch and acted as secretary in the past. She was our Vice Chair at the time of her death. Liz was a kind, thoughtful, and supportive colleague and will be greatly missed.

Many happy memories of time spent with Chris, who was always very good company and full of life. We were both part of the Builth Wells Gardening Club a while ago, and worked together organising an annual tea bar at the Royal Welsh Show to help raise money for the club. Her energy and determination were second to none!
Met Chris in hospital Feb 23. Kind, friendly, fun and mad! The heartbreaks she'd been though hadn't spoilt her. She was as vibrant as the bright pink colour she loved. She arranged for me to be wheeled outside to listen to the bells. We were both mad keen bellringers when we were in better health - still mad, still crackers on bells! It was a total privilege to have met her. I love her dearly and hope I'll see her again one day in heaven. The colours will be amazing dear lovely mad friend!🔔❤🌺

Our donation is in memory of Maria Sandy, the most wonderful friend of over 70 years to Ildiko, the most loving and kind Godmother Kimberley could have asked for and a loving and supportive ‘auntie’ to our whole family. Maria loved children so much and the NSPCC is the natural choice for us to honour her memory. RIP a and with much love
We had a collection at my mothers funeral for the NSPCC as my mother was a volunteer for many years and I still have very happy memories of going door to door in the neighbourhood quickly dropping off the donation envelopes and then going back a week or so later and it taking ages as my mother seemed to know everyone! They all wanted to chat as well as all donating to the charity my mother cared deeply about. RIP Mum you were a wonderful lady xxxxx
